Jerry's M1A1 Abrams rolled into position, its main gun lifted ready to fire. The training ground was quiet, its tranquil targets peacefully presenting themselves for annihilation. "Ready!" yelled Jerry's tank commander. Jerry checked the range finder and his laser sight. "Aim!" the commander yelled into Jerry's ear. "Gunner, check aim!" yelled Jerry. No response. "Gunner?" again, no response. Jerry looked down, and saw his gunner jamming some awesome tunes. "Gunther!!" yelled Jerry. The jamming gunner did not look up. "Crimony." Grunted Jerry, clmbing out of his turret to knock some sense into his slacking crew member. Jerry smacked Gunther the gunner across the back of the head, ripping off his head phones in the process. Gunther seemed to snap out of a daze. "Gunther! What the #$%^ are you doing? Listening to MP3 downloads while firing high caliber SABOT rounds over a mile?! The division commander is going to put me on bathroom duty for a week because of you!" said Jerr y, who followed up by wacking the confudled gunner again across the face with the back of his hand. "Hey, sorry man, I didn't mean to screw you over." Gunther said apologetically. "I just got all these free MP3 downloads from eMusic.com, and I haven't had time to listen to them yet." "That's no excuse soldier! I don't care what kind of MP3 downloads you're listening to, not paying attention in way means hey did you say that those MP3 downloads were free?" Jerry asked. "Yes sir, for a small fee of 15 dollars, you get 30 MP3 downloads a month, and then any downloads after that are just a fraction of the price of what you'd pay at say iTunes." Gunther pointed to the iPod on Jerry's belt. "How many songs you got on that thing?" he asked. "I dunno, maybe a thousand?" Jerry said. "Weak man, weak!" said Gunther. "I could get that many for just a few days salary!" "Yeah but why would you want to spend a few days salary just on MP3 downloads for that matter?" queried Jerry. "That's beside the point Jerry, you know that eMusic has got to be the best website for free MP3 downloads on the net." Gunther said. "Maybe" Suddenly Jerry was angry again. "You know what? %^&* you! Now I'm going to have bathroom duty for a month, plus I'll have to run 5 miles every morning for the next two months because of this conversation!" Jerry scowled at Gunther, and then crawled back up to his turret and put his headset back on. "Captain Jerry!" yelled the tank commander. "Captain Jerry you are so screwed once I get to you!" Jerry took a deep breath and promptly came up with an excellent excuse. "Sorry commander, the fuse for my radio popped, we had to install a new one." Jerry said coolly. "I see" the commander said. "Well in that case, carry on." Jerry breathed a sigh of relief, happy that he would not have to do bathroom duty for a month. "Oh, and Jerry?" the commander said. "Just cause I like ya, you get bathroom duty for a month." The radio cackled with laughter from all of the other tank crews.
